case study — kongsberg pcs

a global webflow website built for scale

Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems develops and manufactures advanced digital cutting solutions for industries around the world.

I developed their international website in Webflow, combining a complex content structure, custom functionality and multilingual support within a consistent component system.

The result is a flexible, multilingual website built around reusable components, custom page layouts and automated functionality that reduces repetitive content management.

the challenge

Kongsberg needed a website capable of presenting a broad range of cutting systems, technologies, applications and services to an international audience.

The challenge was to bring this content together within a clear, flexible structure while supporting multiple languages and the needs of different markets.

The website also needed to give marketing teams the flexibility to manage content and build pages without having to deal with the technical complexity behind them.

what i built

component-based development

Built a system of 39 reusable Webflow components, providing consistent layouts while allowing flexibility in how individual pages are assembled.

multilingual architecture

Implemented Webflow Localization across six languages, including localized navigation, CMS content, URL handling and redirects.

flexible content architecture

Combined CMS-driven listings with individually built pages, allowing greater flexibility in page design without sacrificing structured content management.

context-aware components

Developed components that automatically adapt their content to the current page, including relevant tooling options, filtered listings and generated in-page navigation.

forms and integrations

Implemented lead generation forms, campaign tracking and integrations with existing marketing systems, including Pardot and Google Tag Manager.

responsive development

Translated the visual design into responsive Webflow layouts, with particular attention to typography, imagery, navigation and consistency across devices.

The result is an international website that combines the flexibility of individually built pages with the efficiency of a reusable component system.

Automated content filtering, navigation and page-specific functionality reduce repetitive work and help keep content consistent across the website.

With 39 components and 12 page templates, the website provides a structured foundation that can continue to grow alongside Kongsberg's needs.
